As a new mom, I am quickly learning how crazy life can get with a family. Being responsible for all the schedules and home to-do lists, all while trying to make sure I document my baby's childhood and my family's memories is more than anyone person can keep up with! Which is why it's totally understandable that family portraits typically get placed on the back-burner.
So, we take hundreds of pictures on our phones and never really know what to do with them. And never end up having any wall-worthy ones to hang in your home.

Meet Shelby
An artist at heart, Shelby has always had a need for an art career. She never thought creating large, heirloom portraits of others would be that art career. Losing her mother to breast cancer at the age of fourteen, Shelby realized how important documenting family and individual legacies is. Having no professional portraits with her family or mom to cherish after it was too late, she knew she had to help others avoid the same heartbreak.
Shelby's goal as a photographer will always be to help people leave their legacies behind, display love, and to encourage people to always be themselves.
